Seoul Perfumery has grown steady since its foundation in 1974, concentrating its effort on securing unique flavor and fragrance manufacturing through continuous research and passion.

Establishing the R&D center in 1987, Seoul Perfumery has succeeded to develop and manufacture key base, cloudy and reaction perfumes such as enzyme, leading the domestic flavor and fragrance industry. The company also realizes in-time delivery by processing reaction, extraction, condensing, and drying at one place. One of the strengths of the company is producing special flavors such as pear, melon, chestnut and plum, some of which has gained popularity in domestic market. In addition, the company has globalized such local foods and flavor as Gimchi flavor and Bulgogi flavor, exporting to Japan and China.

Seoul Perfumery has endeavored to commercialize natural food flavor and functional food materials, through cooperation with research teams of universities. This will surely help food industry develop differentiated and competitive foods, as interests in LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) increases gradually. The company established the Bio Division in 2008 to take charge of developing functional food ingredients.
